Violette is an award-winning, internationally-featured Canadian burlesque performer who has been invited to perform on some of the world’s most prestigious and sought-after stages across North America and Europe. She is the current reigning “Duchess of Burlesque” after winning 2nd Runner-Up at the 2025 M-Exotic World Competition in the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Tournament of Tease in Las Vegas. She won three awards at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2024, including “Most Dazzling”, “Most Classic” and 1st Runner-Up Best Debut (marking the first time since 2010 that a solo performer has won three awards in a single year on the BHoF stage). In 2023, Violette was crowned “Burlesque Monarch of Canada” at the Imperial Burlesque Canada competition in Montréal. She has also been voted in the top 3 of “Best Burlesque” in Canada for the past two years (2024-2025).

A Canadian creator, dancer, and art director with a master’s degree in visual design—and currently working on her PhD in Performance Studies—Violette thrives in the arena of sensual live theatre creation. A self-proclaimed absurdist, hedonist, and naked philosopher (with a decadent cocktail obsession), she is the creator of The Two Coupe Society – a mix of a secret society, burlesque show, and cocktail club (stirred well, garnished with absurdity) and The Violette Underground, an immersive one-woman show, built to pop-up in cocktail bars. Locally (in her hometown of Edmonton, Alberta) Violette also regularly produces sold-out shows under the banner of House of Hush Burlesque, which she co-founded in 2018.
